These Bangles are a great embroidery project for beginners as the Bargello pattern is quite simple to do and really effective! They are also quite quick to make! (takes approx 1-2 hours per bangle, depending on your embroidery experience).
This PDF pattern will give you all the instructions required to create your own groovy Bargello Embroidered Bangles!
The sample bangles in the photos show the colours you could sew the bangle edges in, but there is sufficient tapestry wool provided to sew them in any of the shades mentioned in the pattern.
I recommend in the pattern using the high quality Appletons Tapestry Wools that are 100% pure English Wool and are made and dyed in the UK. However, these wools can be substituted for other Tapestry Wool brands such as DMC or Anchor (please note you'll need a larger quantity of DMC Wool as they only contain 8 metres per skein compared to 10 metres in the Appletons Wool skein).
