LEARN HOW TO TURN YOUR GROOVY SAMPLER BARGELLO EMBROIDERY PATTERNS INTO A PINCUSHION WITH THIS FREE VIDEO TUTORIAL
New to Bargello Embroidery? Then this Bargello Sampler Pattern may be the right project for you if your're wanting to try out this groovy craft!
This pattern provides you with 4 x Bargello Embroidery patterns to try that each measure approximately 10cm width x 10cm height.
The pattern also includes a Beginners Guide to Bargello Embroidery with colour demonstration photos.
The size of these sample patterns make them great for using up scrap tapestry wool that you may have left over from other tapestry/bargello embroidery projects.
I've also included the free pincushion video tutorial as you may also have some scrap fabric that can be used for the backing and make them into a fun project. Alternatively you could keep them all on one piece of tapestry canvas and frame it.
The pattern recommends the following materials for these samplers:
A total of 24 x Appletons Tapestry Wool Skeins (100% British Wool - 4ply - approx 10m in length). Please note that each sampler uses 6 x shades of the Tapestry Wool in four different colourways (see photos for reference). You can also use other tapestry wool brands such as Anchor and DMC.
1 x Piece of Zweigart 12 HPI (Holes per Inch) Mono Tapestry Canvas that measures 30cm x 30cm
A Size 18 Tapestry Needle (I recommend John James in the pattern but you can use other brands such as DMC).
The pattern contains colour photos and charts and the instructions are written in English.
