Bargello embroidery is quite simple, yet really effective as you will see when you embroider this glasses case!
The high quality Appletons Tapestry Wools that are recommended for this pattern are 100% pure English Wool and are manufactured and dyed in the UK. However, you could substitute this thread for a similar weight tapestry thread by another brand such as DMC or Anchor.
The finished glasses case measures approx 9.5cm length x 18cm height.
The pattern provided shows you how to make the glasses in two different colourways (Pink & Yellow or Blue).
Here is a summary of the groovy materials that you will need to make the glasses case (more details is given in the pattern):
6 x skeins of Appletons Tapestry Wool
A sheet of 10 count (HPI - holes per inch) Plastic Canvas (check out the plastic canvas listed for sale in my shop)
A size 18 Tapestry Needle
****You will also need some embroidery scissors (check out the Bargello-a-GoGo embroidery scissors that are listed for sale in the shop) and some sharp precision paper scissors for cutting out the plastic canvas****
The PDF Pattern instructions are written in English and provides full colour embroidery charts and photos.
