Add some retro stye to your books with these groovy Bargello Embroidered Bookmarks!
Bargello embroidery is quite simple, yet really effective as you will see when you embroider these bookmarks.
The kit provides enough materials to enable you to make a total of 2 bookmarks in a bright Yellow, Pink and Orange colour combination.
The high quality Appletons Tapestry Wools that are included in this kit are 100% pure English Wool and are made and dyed in the UK.
These bookmarks would make a great beginner project as they are quite quick to make (each one takes approx 1-2 hours depending on your embroidery experience) and they are very simple to sew.
Each bookmark measures approx 5.5xm Width x 14.5cm Height.
KIT MATERIALS INCLUDE:

2 x Pieces of Plastic Canvas cut to size
A John James Size 18 Tapestry Needle
An A5 pattern booklet which includes a beginners guide to bargello embroidery along with detailed instructions for the pattern and coloured photos and chart (the instructions are written in English, with numbered pages for easy reference and is printed on nice, thick 120 gsm paper). ***Please note that the pattern only includes the instructions to make the actual bookmark. You will need to watch the free video tutorial to see how to add any decorative edgings to it.***
The kit materials are packed in a pink, sturdy presentation box with a groovy label, so they would also make a nice gift for someone who you know loves fun craft projects.
***You will also need some embroidery scissors (not included in the kit but check out the Bargello-a-GoGo embroidery scissors that are listed for sale in the shop).***
