Bring some retro style to your Christmas Tree with these fun Bargello Embroidered mini decorations.
Bargello embroidery is quite simple, yet really effective as you will see when you embroider these decorations!
The kit provides enough materials to enable you to make a total of 4 decorations in two different colour ways (see photos).
The high quality Appletons Tapestry Wools that are included in this kit are 100% pure English Wool and are made and dyed in the UK.
These decorations would make a great beginner project as they are fairly quick to make (each one takes approx 1-2 hours depending on your embroidery experience) and they are also quite simple to sew.
The kit comes with an A5 pattern booklet, which has a beginners guide to bargello embroidery, with detailed coloured photos, pattern charts and step by step written instructions to get you started in this vintage craft.
Each Decoration measures approx 7.5cm width x 8.5cm height at the widest points (excluding the string for hanging).
The decorations are double sided so they will look great from all angles hanging from your Christmas Tree!

6 x Skeins of Appletons Tapestry Wool
8 x Sections of plastic canvas that will make a total of 4 Decorations (two sections are required for each decoration and they are cut into shape after stitching on the pattern - full instructions are included on how to do this).
1 x Size 18 Tapestry Needle by British Manufacturer John James
An A5 printed pattern booklet with detailed instructions and coloured photos and charts (the instructions are written in English, with numbered pages for easy reference and is printed on nice, thick 120 gsm paper).
The kit Materials are packed in a pink, sturdy presentation box with a groovy label, so they would also make a nice gift for someone who you know loves fun craft projects.
****You will also need a pair of precision paper scissors (for cutting the plastic canvas) and embroidery scissors (not included in the kit but check out the Bargello-a-GoGo embroidery scissors that are listed for sale in the shop).****
